Inevitability and White Paper
It is been more than several minutes now, that I have been staring hard at a blank Notepad document.(A few years ago, I might have said, staring at a blank piece of paper, but that somehow seems to be out of place here), trying to will myself to start writing about something or the other. Sure, a white 'Untitled' Notepad document on the foreground of dark grey wallpaper is not somewhere one would expect to find inspiration. But amazingly, here is an 'Original' thought, how about writing something about the mundane for a change? How about writing on the subject of the Blank Paper itself? Interested? Probably not, but then, if an article on the "Delights of Lemon Soda" can find its way to the editorial page of India's leading English daily, why not this? "the sound of inevitability" So what is it about the piece of white paper, or even a blank notepad document, that forces us to fill it with anything, even if it is to doodle? Why would you ...
